5 Amazing Blessings That Are Available To You In 2022
As we round the corner into a New Year, we all want to get focused on where we can experience a great breakthrough.
I recently read about the “tree of life” in Revelation. The Bible says it bears “one fruit every month.” What if you could experience “one miracle every month” in 2022?
Psalms 112 is a favorite of mine: “BLESSED is the man who fears the Lord” (v. 1). Before 2021 ended, I took the time to dig out the five areas of “blessing” described by the psalmist for you and me:
CHILDREN: “His children will be mighty in the earth” (v. 2)
All of us could use a breakthrough in our FAMILY, especially with our children. Satan has a plan to destroy their lives, their marriages, and their careers.
Claim their destiny in 2022. Speak a blessing over your children every day. Quit calling them “dumb” and “hopeless.” Declare to them that they are winners, they are leaders, they are successful, they are WORLD-INFLUENCERS.
FINANCES: “Wealth and riches are in his house…” (v. 3)
“Money in the hand of a good person produces good for everyone.”
Satan wants us to remain in the cycle of debt and borrowing, never able to finance the kingdom of God. God’s best is to put you over into the cycle of freedom and generosity.
Claim that 2022 is your year to become a “lender.” Borrowing is not wrong, but it enslaves us to the lender. Purpose to break free of debt and overspending. Begin to save now in an account that will enable you to be generous to others.
RELATIONSHIPS: “He is gracious, merciful, and righteous…he directs his affairs with justice.” (v. 4-5)
I have never known a time when division and bitterness were stronger than now. Where there is division and strife, the blessing of God lifts.
Ps. 133 says that when “brethren dwell together in unity…there the Lord commands the blessing.” Without unity, there is no blessing.
Purpose to restore relationships that are broken currently. Don’t put it off. Be “quick to forgive,” not “slow to forgive.” Be “quick to repent” if you have wronged someone.
Make 2022 a year of miracles in the area of “restored relationships.”
EMOTIONS: “The righteous will never be moved…he is not afraid of bad news. His heart is firm, trusting in the Lord” (v. 6-7).
“BAD NEWS” sounds like most of what we are exposed to in today’s media cycle. It frightens, scares, and intimidates you into emotional distraught.
In 2022, we need a good dose of God’s peace. We need to refuse worry and anxiety over every new headline.
Claim your peace and “cast all of your cares on Him, for He cares for you” (1 Pet. 5: 7).
PURPOSE: “He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” (v. 9)
I’ve learned that you can have all four of the above blessings and STILL feel unfulfilled. The only thing can make a person feel totally “blessed” is to get outside of themselves and feel a LIFE MISSION.
What about you? Perhaps 2022 is the year you discover your calling, your mission, your purpose in helping others. “It is more blessed to GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE.”
Write down these five blessings: “children, finances, relationships, emotions, and purpose.”
