+ What To Expect From Me
Here’s what you can expect from me and my team:
1. Prompt, professional replies to your phone calls and email messages.
2. A personal phone consultation with a member of my team prior to your event, so we can better understand how I can best serve you and your audience. 3. An announcement about your event on my blog and social media channels. (This assumes that your event is open to the public and you want additional visibility for it.) 4. A professionally prepared, dynamically delivered presentation focused on achieving the outcomes you want with your audience. 5. A quick follow-up communication after the event with someone on my team, to make sure I met your expectations. (I would also like to know how you think I can improve.)

Larry became the Associate Chaplain at ORU after graduation and pioneered the Overseas Missions program in 1976. Two weeks after marrying his wife, Melanie, they led an ORU team to Ghana and spent eighteen months living in Ghana and Nigeria. He returned in 1977 and joined the staff of his father’s church, Bethany Church, where he served as Missions Pastor until assuming the senior pastor role in 1983.
Under his leadership, Bethany grew from 1500 members to 7500 members by 2011. His book, The Cell Church was published in 1994 by Regal publishers and is translated worldwide into numerous languages.
Bethany became a multi-site church in 2001 with the launch of the 2000 seat Bethany South Campus. Also in 2001, he began the “Surge Project,” an international church planting movement that has planted over 25,000 churches worldwide by 2020. In 2011, Bethany’s overseers installed Larry’s son, Jonathan, as the Senior Pastor and the church has now grown to five campuses and 10,000 members.
Two further books, The Remnant (Charisma Publishing) and Model Man (Bethany Publishing) have been reprinted also in numerous languages worldwide. In 2019, Larry celebrated his 50th year of preaching the Gospel by opening “Pastors University,” a practical one year course for pastors that features “50 lessons from 50 years.”
Larry and Melanie reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and have six married children and 15 grandchildren.
