94 Ways Your Life Is Better “In Christ”
Your old way of thinking (“before Christ”) has hundreds of “identity markers.” They tell your mind who you are in this natural, fallen world.
In the New Testament Epistles, there are at least 94 “identity markers.” They re-train your mind about who you are now “in Christ.”
I PROMISE YOU that if you meditate on these 94 verses and speak them out loud, your mind and identity will be totally transformed in 2021!
HERE is a link to that simple list of 94 “in Christ” verses that you can download to get started.
Here are just a few of the things they will do for you:
Help you to overcome “sin consciousness.”
The only time we should be conscious of sin is when we have committed one. We quickly confess it and it is GONE.
In Christ, our past sins are gone. Removed. Redeemed. The “sin white board” of your mind and conscience is clean.
“Therefore, if any man be IN CHRIST, he is a new creation” (#20 on the list, 2 Cor. 5: 17)
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are IN CHRIST JESUS” (#3 on the list, Rom. 8:1).
If you struggle with continually looking backward at sin you have already confessed, start speaking out this list every day. Your mind and heart will feel truly forgiven.
Help you overcome every challenge.
Many Christians see their challenges as punishment from God. Even Jesus had challenges (like storms!) and you KNOW He was not being punished by God.
He “always causes you to triumph IN CHRIST” (#18 in the list, 2 Cor. 2:14)
When you know that you are triumphant IN all things because Christ was triumphant OVER all things, you become a winner in your thinking.
Give you a blessing mentality.
Many Christians really believe they are “cursed.” When they miss a sale or lose a home or business, they believe God took that thing. The Epistles, however tell us we are blessed, not cursed:
“He has given us all spiritual blessings in heavenly places IN CHRIST” (#29 on the list, Eph. 1:3)
“My God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory IN CHRIST” (#44 on the list, Phil. 4:19).
“So that IN CHRIST JESUS the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles” (#25 on the list, Gal. 3: 14).
Think of God’s favor, blessing, and Divine supply moving resources your way right now.…IN CHRIST.
Help you to have confidence in your prayers.
I get people asking me all the time to pray for them. I do, but I realize that they have no faith in THEIR OWN FAITH. God wants you to approach Him with confidence, expecting Him to back up His promise:
“In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith IN HIM” (#76 on the list, Eph. 3:12).
“All the promises of God are ‘YES’ IN HIM” (#68 on the list, 2 Cor. 1:20).
Bring your request confidently. Attach it to a promise. Then, relax and thank God that He is working behind the scenes to bring that promise to pass.
