Did anyone tell you how rich you are?
Human beings are now approaching the 300 BILLION dollar mark in personal wealth.
Just forget it…you could never spend it all!
Riches. Everyone is running after riches.
I found some riches that you can only call “unsearchable.”
They can never perish and never diminish. I never get tired of them.
Let me cover with you just HOW RICH YOU REALLY ARE:
1.The riches of FORGIVENESS—
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the FORGIVENESS of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us…” (Eph. 1: 7-8).
Your first “download” of incredible riches into your life account was a download of “grace.” God poured out the riches of forgiveness, mercy, patience, and kindness by completely removing all your sins.
You became RICH the moment you were born again!
2. The riches of HEALTH—
If you have been deathly ill (and I was) you realize that nothing in life is more valuable than health.
Jesus walked around Galilee downloading the riches of healing, health, and life into tens of thousands of people.
“He heals all our diseases….” (Ps. 103: 3).
I would rather be able to run around the block, fly overseas, and enjoy days with my family than have all the riches in the world.
3. The riches of the HOLY SPIRIT—
“….the renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us RICHLY through Jesus Christ our Savior…” (Titus 3: 5-6
To have joy…to have love….to have peace, patience, and all of the fruit of the Spirit downloaded into our internal account is priceless.
The Holy Spirit is God’s “deposit” living inside us, changing us into the very image of Christ.
4. The riches of FINANCES—
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his RICHES in glory in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4: 19).
“Rich” is a variable term. To me, it means “every need supplied.”
“I shall not want.” Jesus is a Good Shepherd and takes good care of His flock. He wants us to have clothing, food, shelter and transportation.
If you have all of that, you are RICH!
5. The riches of SCRIPTURE—
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you RICHLY” (Col. 3:16).
To HAVE a Bible and to UNDERSTAND the Bible is a download of riches like I can’t describe.
I have read through the Bible many, many times. Each time, I receive “jewels” of revelation about God, His Son, relationships, marriage, love for others, conquering fear, and hundreds of other topics. It is truly my daily bread.
6. The riches of FRIENDS
As I write this blog, I am returning from a six-day trip to Panama, where several of my longtime friends had gathered. We have worked together for many years planting churches.
Talk about rich! The fun, the laughter, the tears, the plans. Your friendships are your most fabulous riches.
You see, I told you you were wealthy!
