This Is How Becoming A “Receiver” Can Change Your Life
Every great quarterback needs a “receiver.”
He can throw the ball and hit a player in the facemask. Unless the receiver “receives” the pass, nothing happens.
God is looking for “receivers.”
I’ve had to learn to receive. We think we are being humble when we refuse to receive.
Could you get over that?
“Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe you HAVE RECEIVED them, and you will have them” (Mk. 11:24)
Here are three things that will help you be a better “receiver”:
Get over the idea that God doesn’t want you to have what you need.
Jesus said that if we (being evil) know how to give good things to our children, how much more will the heavenly Father give good things to his children?
You would NEVER want one of your children to go without their needs being met.
“RECEIVE IT.”
Go ahead and begin to thank the Lord for receiving what you need. It won’t bankrupt Him. He enjoys seeing your needs be supplied!
2. Get over the idea that God loves some people more than others.
God is no “respecter” of persons. He loves every single person on earth the same.
Why do they not have the same?
They don’t “receive.” GOD WILL NEVER RECEIVE FOR YOU.
Many don’t know there is a God of love who wants to help and bless His children. They serve a God of anger, death, and wrath. I think they are describing Satan, the “god of this world.”
How will they know to “receive” unless we tell them?
The only way to get saved is to “receive.”
Likewise, the only way to get free, healed, delivered, or blessed is to “receive.”
It is God’s will for everyone to receive salvation. They don’t know it (or refuse to receive it).
Relax, and let God bless you as He desires to.
3. Keep your eye on the ball.
I played receiver in college flag football. Your biggest challenge is watching the ball until you actually “receive it.”
If you try to run before catching or brace yourself for a hit, you will fail to “receive.”
Wait for your answer. It’s coming. “Receiving it” is the priority.
Say, “Thank you, Lord, I believe I receive my request.” You may not have “caught it” yet, but it is headed your way. Focus on being ready to catch it when it arrives.
You will miss it if you give up and start walking toward the sidelines!
I just wanted to let you know that your answer is coming. Say, “Praise you, Lord, I receive my miracle every day.” You don’t see it yet, but it is on its way, and you are in a position to “receive it.”
God is the Giver, the Sender. He hears your request the moment you pray. Don’t crack one eye open and see if it has arrived
By faith, receive it.
If the receiver is off, a radio cannot “receive” the invisible airwaves.
The invisible God is always speaking, giving, and blessing.
Keep your eyes open and get ready to RECEIVE!
